Women have become the last, good, honorable, voice of humanity. – শাফকাত রাব্বী অনিক

Women have become the last, good, honorable, voice of humanity.

It is particularly true in the democratic world.

See the following data points:

* The best and the most honorable national leaders amid the pandemic were Women. Germany, New Zealand are the brightest spots in this regard.

* Women, both Republicans and Democrats, blacks whites and yellow, saved the American democracy by overhelmingly putting country over party and voting for Biden.

* Read the comments sections of the best news papers of the world — New York Times, Washington Post, The Atlantic, etc .. you will find the most engaged and meaningful comments are from women. Women are the most engaged, paying subscribers of the news outlets.

* Many of the major social justice movements are now led by women. Black Lives Matter, Black Votes Matter , and there are many more to count.

Although there are obvious exceptions, as there are few lady dictators or disgraceful female national leaders around the corner , still your chances of finding a humane, empathetic, and prudent national leader, manager, or celebrity is significantly higher with a woman than man.

Men have failed themselves in the last two decades.

It started with falling educational standards among men, and now that is gradually penetrating all other realms of manhood — politics, management, and ending up with top level leadership.

  1. It’s easier and more convenient for the oppressed to stand for what is right.
Rarely are they beneficiaries of those in power courtesy of being the second sex.

Walmart board was filled with women when they slipped Rana Plaza issue under the mat.

The merchandisers who visit deshi factories and report ‘Everything, okay!’ once they go back home are also usually women. 🙂

  3. I have personally seen the involvement of women in political matters this year. During the BLM protest in Kansas City 80% protesters were women. Being in a city in Midwest the majority were white women in the BLM protest.

  4. I am glad you took care to mention the exceptions as well. Not too long ago there was a post going around as to how Bangladesh is role model for women empowerment because of having a female PM, leader of “opposition” and speaker. Made me want to scream into a towel.

  5. in the US, in the age group 25-54 male:female is almost one, but almost 35% of the male population is put out of circulation due to substance abuse, incarceration, military service, disabilities (mental and physical). So we are going to see higher rate of participation of the females in all sectors, save for military and some other strictly menial jobs.

  6. Many studies have concluded that girls outperform boys in the current schooling system, mainly because it rewards consistency, which is a stronghold of girls. Boys tend to cram before exams but girls are steady performers. Achieving higher grades in our current education system depends more on turning in your homework on time than sudden bursts of performance.

  7. I liked this one also….”Although there are obvious exceptions, as there are few lady dictators or disgraceful female national leaders around the corner….” Good one. :p
